My favorite design and creating is repurposing furniture. I love to encourage all artists to REUSE REPURPOSE AND RECREATE.
These are pictures from a student of mine, Twyla Dean. She brought my books and painted the foundation of her house were flowers would not grow. The refrigerator was her idea. It started as a white fridge, and she painted it black to match her other appliances and the hand painted flower Very creative!
This is a 1960’s gold plate I pick up at a garage sale. I zentangled it with a black Sharpie giving the pattern more emphasis on the black, and a contemporary look.
