If you've never had custom designed work before, you will probably have questions about how the whole process works. While every project is different, the project proceeds generally as follows


FIRST: Contact Sherry by Email or by phone. During the initial conversation I will "get a feel" for what you have in mind, your input, subject, size, shape and colors etc…. We will have a "coming together" of the minds and then the creativity process can begin.

IF you are out of our area…. The initial conultation is done via Email, phone or slow mail.*

CREATIVITY ABOUNDS HERE…

I will present to you an Artist Rendering of your project as I interpret it. Along with this you will receive an Estimate Roughly of what I think this project is going to cost you. The Fee for This is $50.00 (non-refundable). Once we establish that you like the idea and all changes are made or decided upon I will prepare a formal Quote detailing Labor and Materials. If you approve and are ready to proceed a 50% down payment (non refundable) of the Total on the Quote is required to schedule your project.


The Fun Part

Drawing and painting! Your floors and finished walls will be masked off with safe, low-tack masking materials, and the painting will begin. In some cases you may choose to have the painting done off-site on canvas and applied as a finished work. This approach creates quite a different look than a mural completed directly on the wall surface, but it can significantly decrease the disruption to your home or business.

Sometimes a project can begin right away; other times there will be a lag-time or waiting period. If you are opening a shop or business on a specific date, you will want to get onto the schedule as soon as possible, even if you are not exactly sure what you will be having done. It is usually possible to work around business hours - either late at night, or early in the morning, for renovating an existing shop. On the scheduled date you're painting WILL BEGIN!!! When on site jobs are completed the balance on the Quote is due. A digital photo will be sent to our out of area clients of your finished painting for your approval. Any changes will be made and upon approval, your balance is due and we will ship the painting with instructions if necessary for installation. Or if installation has been prearranged our staff will travel and install. "IN STUDIO " paintings for local clients will be delivered and or installed on site.

*A Note For Our Out of Town Clients- Sherry is available to travel to any destination to paint murals for business and home decor. Please feel free to contact Sherry with all your Mural and / or painting questions. If the job location is outside of the greater Cincinnati area then there will be additional charges for transportation, or, depending on distance, possibly lodging. Some jobs can be worked on canvas and shipped, as well.
